BEMO-COFRA kicks off in Recife, Brazil!
The main goal for the Kick-off meeting was for all partners to agree on the project’s visions and to set out a plan for meeting the aims and objectives. Tasks and responsibilities were discussed and assigned, thereby ensuring a common understanding and agreement on each partner’s role in the project.
The meeting started off with a presentation of the project objectives and management procedures followed by presentations of the different work packages and the methods, technology and research involved. A more detailed planning of the first six months was made, including setting dates for the forthcoming Scenario Thinking and User Workshop, Internal Training sessions and a Technical meeting. Finally, some very minor adjustments to the work plan were agreed upon in order to strengthen the interaction between some of the work packages.
The Kick-off meeting also presented the opportunity for all partners to meet in person – some met for the first time while others have worked together in other projects in the past.
